Body Autonomy: Collage
This project is a three-series photo collage that explores the idea of body autonomy through various avenues, concepts, and ideas. This series showcases the restrictive nature that society can, has, and continues to put onto female presenting folk. The first collage takes on the concept of acceptance of form for profit vs. a personal day-to-day lifestyle. The second collage is a reflection of the past and the restrictions that have been overcome. The last collage presents the pressure that media and social constructs add onto the form itself. Each of these culminates together to bring a view of the challenges that are faced in our society surrounding body autonomy.
