This project is a booklet about NY Architect Amale Andraos, a talented architect and acclaimed professor in the subject. Her specialty is thought-provoking concepts that interact within the urban landscape surrounding them while being a place that invokes community and gathering. She uses conceptual design, abstract shapes, and engaging color palettes to help achieve these feats.
For the design, I took inspiration from Amale's design concepts and style, the color palette for projects, nods to her office space, and aspects of her personal life. The color palette and key design elements derive from the abstract natural shapes she uses to create her conceptual buildings. The photographs and collages are from key designs, places, and people that are also a key part of her life.
