Eye of the Beholder: Poster Illustration
This project was for an illustrative poster of a common quote.The quote, "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder," by Margaret Wolfe Hungerford. We took the literal idea of an eye to demonstrate the quote while adding the context of the beholder by a hand upholding the eye as if to peer inside. We conceptualized beauty in the western sense by adding in the silhouette of a woman as well. We wanted this to be in stark contrast to the depiction of the eye being bloodshot and with a sense of horror behind the depiction of the eye as a whole.
