Self-Portrait of a Messy Mind
There is such a duality between a photograph's lens and the illustrative mess of a mind. I find myself looking through my "lens" throughout my day-to-day life. Watching, waiting to capture that moment or "movie" sequence to lock in and capture into my memory. Just as the brushstroke reveals the different facets of the photograph, it embraces the different caveats to our personalities that ebb and flow together into something unified and wholly our own. Personally, I don't always know which side of my personality will be shining through for that moment until it comes along like a flick of a paintbrush.
Self Portrait is a personal student project.
